✯REVIEW BLITZ:✯ The Wright Mistake by K.A. Linde

The Wright Mistake by K.A. Linde

Release Date: August 8th 2017 by K.A. Linde Inc.
Series: Wright #3
Genres: Romance, Contemporary

A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde...

I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

My Review:

From the eye catching cover to the intriguing synopsis, The Wright Mistake completely sucked me in from the very start. Linde did a good job executing a story with sensitive topics while giving us a sense of hope and new beginnings. At the very start of the story we get to meet Julia Banner, who works at HR for the Wright Contraction’s company. After working for the Wright family for some time, she is used to being around them all the time on and off work. Needless to say that when she spends the night with Austin Wright, one of the Wright brothers, she doesn’t realize just how much her life was about to change. Their relationship lasted for a short time after that, and it ended abruptly. Neither of them expected to feel something more for the other, but Julia still feels the same way towards Austin and she hates it. When she is invited to be with the Wrights for the holiday weekend, she wasn’t expecting to find Austin there, but he is and he is not ready to give up on her no matter how much distance she tries to put between them. Now she has to decide if giving him a second chance is worth it or not.

Austin Wright has it all, he has the looks and wealth to attract just about any women he would like. Yet, it was his short relationship with Julie that has damaged him for other women. As one who never really cared for anyone else or takes things seriously, Austin has now to convince Julia that their relationship is worth fighting for. Yet his life gets more complicated when he gets passed up on a job that he thought he was going to get in the company. Now he has to prove to the board of directors that he can get over his alcohol addiction in order to seem more responsible. It is through a series of events that really make him see and value those round him, but most importantly value his health and well being before he can move on with Julia that proves to be the ultimate test.

I loved reading this story, it was filled with so much emotion and chemistry between the characters that I couldn’t seem to get enough of it. The characters have their pasts and issues that they need to solve before they could ever think about being together. Austin had his moments where he could be charming and others a total jerk. His family (which we get to meet in the other Wright books) is there for him no matter what and that along with Julia’s help completely changes him. On the other hand, Julia has troubles accepting who she really is through her somewhat rough exterior, but comes to terms with what she wants with the Austin’s help. Overall, I would highly recommend reading this book and others by the author you will not regret it. ;)
